Although vancomycin (VAN) had been administered for the control of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus blood flow infection, the poor efficacy of the drug led us to switch treatment from VAN to daptomycin combined with linezolid on the 4th day. Imipenem 1 g q8h, June 3–June 8; cefoperazone sulbactam 3 g q8h, June 9-June 16; daptomycin 0.5 g daily, June 5–June 23; and linezolid 0.6 g every 12 h, June 5-July 3. SCF: Cefoperazone sulbactam; VAN: Vancomycin; DAP: Daptomycin; LZD: Linezolid; WBC: White blood cell; BT: Body temperature.
