Attended Jordan University School of Medicine and graduated in 1992. Completed internal medicine residency from Marshall University School of Medicine in 1999 then Nephrology fellowship from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in 2001. Has been a member of the nephrology section at Marshall University in West Virginia for the past 20 years and the chief of nephrology for the past 9 years. program director of the renal fellowship program in the same institution. Interested in clinical and translational research in the field of nephrology and in metabolic conditions including obesity. Have more than 50 peer reviewed publication and 10s of abstracts and posters in various medical society meetings. Heavily involved in the peer review process. Experienced nephrologist with strong focus on teaching and mentoring medical students and trainees in various stages of training. Received several awards as a practitioner and educator.
