I was born on August 21, 1976 in Zawiercie. In 1983-1991, I attended Primary School No. 1. Polish Army in Poręba that I graduated with distinction. In 1991, I became the winner of the Regional Competition of Russian Language for Primary Schools. In 1991, at a meeting of the brightest students in their studies and extracurricular work, I received the award of Board of Education in Sosnowiec (Delegation in Zawiercie). In 1991-1995, I attended the High School of Stefan Zeromski in Zawiercie. In 1994, I became a laureate of the 25th Regional Olympiad and a finalist of National Olympiad in Russian language. In addition, I received a letter of commendation for particularly outstanding academic performance of the Director of the Delegation of the Board of Education in Sosnowiec and Diploma in recognition of outstanding student achievement from the President of Zawiercie City. In 1995, I received the title of a lauretate of the 24th Regional Olympiad and a finalist of National Biological Olympiad. In the same year, I received the award of President of Zawiercie for outstanding academic achievement. High School graduated with the highest grade point average of 5.71 (1st place). In addition, in 1988-1995, I was a student of Social Outbreak of Music in piano, that I graduated with honors. In 1995, I began studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, which I graduated in 2001 with a very good yield with highest honors grade point average of 5.11 (1st place). For obtaining an MD degree with distinction, I received a congratulatory letter from the Rector of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Professor Tadeusz Wilczok. In addition, I received a diploma for the best graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Katowice, Silesian Medical University in the academic year 2000/2001 from the Polish Medical Society (Katowice). In 2001, I started a postgraduate internship in the University Hospital of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. In the same year, in a competition procedure, I was employed as an assistant in the Department of Anatomy, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. In 2002, I graduated from postgraduate and started working in the Department of Digestive Tract Surgery University Hospital of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, where in 2003 I began specialized training in the field of general surgery. In 2004, I was employed as an assistant in the Department of Digestive Tract Surgery, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. In 2008, defended my doctoral thesis with distinction entitled “Comparative assessment of results of iatrogenic biliary injuries surgical treatment” (Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland). In 2009, I obtained the title of specialist in general surgery. In 2011, I was promoted to the position of assistant professor of Department of Digestive Tract Surgery, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
