I graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University in 1995, one of the best academies in China. After working as a resident doctor for four years in BeJing, I went to Japan in 1999 where I received my Ph.D degree in Renal Physiology and finished my post-doctoral training in Genetics Study. Later I worked in the Research Institute of International Medical Center of Japan in Tokyo as a senior investigator in Physiogenomics. In the meantime, I have once received research fund from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and become a Ph.D instructor. Supported by the research fund, my work won the SHR society award 2008 issued at the 13th International Symposium on SHR held in Prague. After returning to China in 2008, I continued my clinical practice in a major comprehensive medical facility. I also applied for and was granted with the National Natural Science Fund of China. During my research career of more than two decades, I have published dozens of papers covering a wide spectrum of kidney diseases, hemodialysis, genetics, cardiovascular diseases, onconephrology and, in recent years, infectious diseases, which are available at ORCID 0000-0002-7370-7299.
