Dr. Chang is a Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology of the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Having received his MD degree from Chulalongkorn University in 2008, Dr. Chang undertook his postgraduate training in Gastroenterology and Advanced Gastroenterological Endoscopy Fellowship (under the instruction of Professor Nonthalee Pausawasdi and Professor Varayu Prachayakul) at the Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. After that, he has been an attending Gastroenterologist in Hatyai Hospital and has become a lecturer of the Prince of Songkla University since 2015. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology of the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, in 2020. His ongoing research interests are endoscopy (including esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), viral hepatitis (particularly HBV and HCV), liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. He is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. Currently, he is the Director of the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Hatyai Hospital, Thailand.
