After a PhD thesis in1988 in the field of oncogenic molecular mechanisms at University of Nice, France, I did a post-doc at UC San Diego, California USA in M. Karin's lab on MAPK signaling pathways. This work was at the origin of the discovery of the Jun Kinases. Back in France in 1991, I first worked on the identification of targets of the Jun oncogene. Since 1999, I'm working on the field on Embryonic Stem biology and more precisely on the early molecular mechanisms involved in ES cell differentiation. Since few years, I focused on the isolation and on the set-up of experimental models based on cultures of human iPS cell lines isolated  from patient suffering from monogenic human pathologies.
