Jianbo Yue received a BS degree from Sichuan University (1991), a MS degree from Peking University (1994), and a PhD degree from Penn State University (2000). He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Standord University (2001-2007). In 2008, he was appointed as assistant professor at University of Hong Kong. Currently, he is the associate professor of Department of Biochemical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include stem cells, Ca2+ signaling, autophagy, and cell cycle regulation.
