Ten Alzheimer’s disease patients who were positron emission tomography (PET) positive and ten normal controls who were PET negative were age- and sex-matched. There were significant differences between the two groups, which indicated that the leukocyte N6-methyladenine DNA levels were different (P = 0.005; < 0.05, n = 10 people per group).
