Figure 1 Imaging examination before treatment. A: Mastoid computed tomography imaging showed that the bilateral mastoid air chambers had disappeared and the separation was blurred (yellow arrow). In the tympanum and mastoid sinus, increased density shadows were visible, and the ossicle bones were coarse, and the tympanic membrane was thickened; B: Nasopharyngeal enhanced magnetic resonance imaging T2-weighted imaging showed no space occupying lesions or abnormal enhancement in the nasopharynx. Multiple honeycomb-shaped high signal shadows were observed in the bilateral mastoid regions (orange arrow), and mucosal thickening was observed in the right maxillary sinus (blue arrow).
