Gábor Gazdag is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Semmelweis University. At the same time he is the head of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychiatric Rehabilitation in Jahn Ferenc South Pest Hospital. Main fields of his research interest are history of psychiatry, diagnosis and treatment of catatonia, consultation-liaison psychiatry and clinical use of electroconvulsive therapy.
