My name is Xiao-Bin Zhang. I hold a doctoral degree, which is my highest academic qualification. My current professional titles are Chief Physician and Professor. I currently work at Suzhou Guangji Hospital, affiliated with Soochow University. As a clinical medicine doctoral supervisor at Soochow University and a visiting scholar under the Jiangsu Government Scholarship for Overseas Studies. My primary research focus is on the pathophysiological mechanisms of schizophrenia. I've led several significant projects, including those funded by the Jiangsu 333 Project, Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, and Jiangsu Social Development Project. My long-term research focus is primarily centered on the pathophysiological mechanisms of schizophrenia. This aligns with my professional roles in psychosomatic medicine and psychiatry, including my position as Deputy Director of the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association. My goals include: (1) Advancing our understanding of schizophrenia through innovative research, building on my previous work that has led to numerous publications and awards. (2) Translating research findings into clinical applications, improving patient outcomes and treatment strategies for schizophrenia and related disorders.
