I am currently working as Director cum CEO of Institute of mental health having clinical,teaching,research and administrative responsibilities.I had been the President of Indian Association of Indian Association for Social Psychiatry and Indian Psychiatric Society North Zone.I am associated as member of editorial boards of Various zonal ,national journals (Indian Journal of Psychiatry,Indian journal of social Psychiatry,North zone journal).I have been the chairman of PG board of studies.I have many publications in reputed journals and written many chapters in books.I have presented my research in various national and international conferences.Worked in NHS UK for 2 years and was awarded WHO fellowship on Health and Advocacy.I have rich experience of more than three decades working in field of mental health.I am also the founder president and Patron of Society for Rural mental health.
