Professor Henriette Löffler-Stastka is an expert in the field of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy Research and an IPA trained psychoanalyst who offers both general and specialist psychiatric-psychoanalytic care. Professor Löffler-Stastka has led the implementation of the psychotherapy research program, of the health-care management program, and is director of the postgraduate programs at the Medical University Vienna. She is engaged within several units into research projects (e.g., University Hospital Oslo, Norway; University of Emory, Atlanta; Anna Freud Center, London and UCL London, UK), plus Mid-Career Counselor of the Society of Psychotherapy Research. Professor Löffler-Stastka has also been instrumental in training medical doctors, psychiatrists and psychotherapists also in other European countries, and was the Co-Founder Chairman of the Section Psychotherapy of the Austrian Psychiatric Society (ÖGPP). Professor Löffler-Stastka is passionate about using simulation training to help educate teams within the field of psychiatry, train effective communication techniques, to use new technologies, enhance recovery and strengthen sustainable change processes.
