I chose cardiology because I find great fulfilment in managing critically ill patients, where timely and appropriate interventions can be both life-saving and deeply rewarding. Naturally, I see clinical research as an extension of this work—offering the potential to make an impact that transcends individual patient care. This perspective inspired me to pursue medical writing five years ago. I am a motivated and dedicated physician with a career goal of integrating high-quality patient care with meaningful contributions to medical science through research. Over the past five years, I have authored multiple research and review articles published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. I also serve as an active peer reviewer, having reviewed >400 manuscripts for over 80 (Q1 and Q2) peer reviewed journals, including the likes of JACC, JACC Asia, Nature portfolio journals, BMJ, Frontiers series journals etc. With a focused clinical and academic interest in atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and structural cardiology, I have authored numerous impactful publications over the past five years in these areas that have been well received and cited worldwide. For instance one of my recent papers "Atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease: an integrative review focusing on therapeutic implications of this relationship" published in World Journal of Cardiology on 26th May 2023 has already received 72 citations by 14th April 2025 reflecting the widespread adoption of this research. Similarly other notable works in MASLD, gut microbiome and cardiovascular health, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, cardiac amyloidosis have all been well cited. In addition, I bring substantial editorial experience to the table. He actively contributes to the scientific community and holds editorial board positions with esteemed journals including BMC Cardiovascular Disorders, Heart and Mind, and the Heart Failure Journal of India besides the World Journal of Cardiology. Notably, he currently serves as the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the respected journal Vascular Health and Risk Management.
