I am a native of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand and have done M.B.B.S. and M.S. (General Surgery) from K.G's Medical University, Lucknow, India. I'm well trained for surgical super-specialty of Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and acquired M.Ch. (CTVS) degree from same institute and later also accomplished MBA (Hosp. management). I'm accredited fellow of American college of Surgeon and Indian association of Cardio-thoracic surgeons. I've extensive medical experience of more than 25 years after primary medical education. In my specialty, already worked as Cardiac surgeon at Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi and in Wockhardt hospital, Surat where in addition of patient care was also involved in research projects and teaching of Diplomat National Board-CT Surgery postgraduate students. In November 2012, I joined AIIMS Rishikesh an Institute of national importance, incorporating the institution’s vision and mission to develop super specialist Cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery department in this hilly region. I already have credit of 65 research publications and various studies in indexed national and international Journals, various research projects with 2 book chapters. I am also in peer reviewer panel of twenty five international medical journals. My areas of interest and expertise include various domains of heart and lung surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), Heart valves surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, Chest trauma surgery and healthcare administration.
