Dr. Gong Su, is the Deputy Director of Center of Cardiovascular Medicine at Aerospace Central Hospital of Peking University, associate professor of Peking University, as well as the Research Scientist of University of Utah School of Medicine. His special clinical interests include coronary heart disease and diabetes. Dr. Su’s research activities span clinical and basic research and are focused on the relationship between diabetes and coronary artery disease and the impact of glucose metabolic disorder on cardiovascular complications as well as the characteristics of atherosclerotic lesion using artery imaging techniques (CT, MRI, angiography, PET, IVUS, and OCT). Dr. Su has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is the recipient of JDRF silver award in United States.
