Dr. Manish Madnani is one of the youngest and enthusiastic aspiring Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic surgeon. He is passionate about his subject and his constant craving for updating his own skills to attain perfection has made him travel a lot across the country and the globe for academic gatherings and training programs. His desire to provide the best to his patients and policy of “primum non nocere” is the reason he connects to patients and their families very easily. He has been trained by the stalwarts of the field of surgical gastroenterology. He graduated in medicine from the renowned decades old Medical School of Cultural city of Gujarat, Baroda Medical College. And from there only based on his throughout performance and merits of undergraduate program, he secured his seat in Postgraduate program in General Surgery, which he finished with another feather to his cap, Gold Medal in subject of General Surgery in 2011. His perseverance took him to achieve 15th rank nationwide, in the centralized entrance exam for enrolment in super specialty courses conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2013 January. He finished his 3 years training of Surgical Gastroenterology at Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad with Dr. Sanjiv Haribhakti, Dr. Hitesh Chavda and many other eminent Gastrointestinal and HPB Surgeons of state. He cleared his exit exam with flying colors at first attempt, which is considered one of the most difficult exams in medical field. After that he started practicing at his beloved city of Ahmedabad. During these years he has presented many papers at national and international conferences and won prizes for his institute. He was invited to give a speech on his original research on comparison between single incision versus standard laparoscopic gall bladder surgery at Birmingham, UK in 2016. Then in later part of 2018 he shifted to Kingdom of Bahrain at Bahrain Specialist Hospital to establish the upcoming department of Hepatobiliary surgery under the umbrella of Department of General Surgery.
