The CT revealed the gallbladder swelling with exudate associated with severe inflammation without stones or debris (arrowheads); C: Follow-up abdominal CT scan at 5 d after treatment of acute cholecystitis. Gallbladder swelling was markedly improved with reduced ascites exudate (arrowheads).
