Figure 1 Additional recommended risk factor analyses for the prognostic evaluation of stage II colon cancer patients. These include factors associated with the tumor and its microenvironment, immune and inflammatory status, diet, and nutritional balance. These key parameters, in combination with the study of traditional risk factors, will improve treatment selection and possibly prevent relapse in these patients.
