Biography: Dr. Liyan Liu earned her M.D. degree from Harbin Normal University in 2006 and got Ph.D. degree from Harbin Medical University in 2011. She is presently a Professor of Department of Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Public Health College, Harbin Medical University, China. She was awarded as the Youth Science and Technology of Heilongjiang Provincial in 2013 because of excellent study of metabolomics. She majors research is focused on metabolomics, the development of analytical method and application of metabolomics. Dr Liu presided over more than 10 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and received 6 awards such as the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award. Dr Liu compiled 3 textbooks for teaching purposes. Dr Liu has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in international journals. Dr Liu is also a regular reviewer for over 20 scientific journals and serves as a grant reviewer for China.
