Scholar’s Academic Contribution Identifier evaluation process
What is the Academic Contribution Identifier (ACID)? The rapid development of artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies has borne both revolutionary opportunities and distinctive challenges to the digital recording, evaluation, and management of academic contributions. Based on our Reference Citation Analysis system, a unique platform for citation evaluation of biomedical and life science articles, we are able to assign a unique, permanent ACID code and personal website to each scholar, journal, publisher, or research institution. The purpose of the ACID is to provide scholars, journals, publishers or research institutions with a high-quality digital platform to record, evaluate and manage the academic contribution of each article. The benefits of an ACID are threefold, as it facilitates the permanent maintenance and enrichment of scholar’s academic record and article citation analysis, provides evidence of scholar’s academic contributions, and expands scholar’s discoverability and recognition worldwide.
