I work in the Department of Biomedical and Environmental Analyses of the Wroclaw Medical University as an assistant professor.1998–2003 Master’s studies, Wrocław Medical University, field of studies: Medical Analysis, thesis “The immunohistochemical localization of metallothionein in serous cystadenoma and adenocarcinoma of the pancreas”. 2003–2006 Doctoral studies, Wrocław Medical University, field of studies: Clinical and Toxicological Biochemistry. 25.06.2009 obtained the degree of doctor in pharmaceutical sciences, Wrocław Medical University. PhD thesis: “Impaired pancreatic function in patients with chronic inflammation and environmentally exposed to tobacco smoke”. I co-authored thirty four publication, including ten impact factor ones (total IF=21.985) (attached list of publications). I co-authored thirty conference communications (three oral communications and twenty nine posters). Head of university grant for young scientists-research project: Evaluation of pancreatic endocrine function in smokers with chronic inflammation of the pancreas and diabetic. Performer grant university - research project: Pancreatic dysfunction in patients with inflammation and environmentally exposed to tobacco smoke. Performer grant university - research project: Pancreatic dysfunction in individuals exposed to tobacco smoke. Performer research project: The role of glutathione peroxidase and glutathione in retaining the balance pro / antioxidant in patients with chronic pancreatitis. Performer research project: The participation of metallothionein and Zn / Cu superoxide dismutase in maintaining the balance of pro / antioxidant pancreas in patients with diseases of this organ.
