My name is Tawfik Khoury, senior and consultant gastroenterologist at Galilee Medical Center. My interest focuses mainly in Advanced Endoscopy, in addition to basic science studies in collaboration with physicians at the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya, Galilee Medical Center's in the field of pancreatic diseases. Recently, I lead a research group that focus in publishing data in this field, as we have published recent several studies regarding the yield of rapid onsite evaluation in EUS, we further identified non-invasive predictors of CBD stones in general, in biliary pancreatitis and among with acute calculous cholecystitis. Beside those, other several papers are in progress, importantly, a novel finding addressing the association of CBD dilation among patients with main-duct IPMN and others.
