Professor Zi-Kai Wang is an expert in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and digestive diseases from the department of gastroenterology and hepatology, the First Medical Centre, Chinese PLA General Hospital. Professor Zi-Kai Wang is good at endoscopic therapeutic techniques including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES), and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) guided interventional techniques. At present, professor Zi-Kai Wang contributes to the research and development of robot-assisted gastrointestinal endoscopy and artificial intelligence endoscopy. He is a member of NOTES group from the Chinese society of digestive endoscopology, and a member of gastrointestinal microbiome group from the Chinese society of gastroenterology.
