It's my immense pleasure to introduce myself as Dr Sarah Shafqat PhdCS from Faculty of Computing and Technology, International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, Pakistan. I taught at IIUI as visiting faculty and served as a profound researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, healthcare analytics and cloud computing. Prior to PhD, my educational background starts from O/A-Levels completed in 1999, in which I studied economics and pre-engineering subjects that led me towards obtaining an international degree of Bachelor in Business (Information Technology) from Curtin University, Australia, in 2006. This three years distance learning program was offered by Beaconhouse Informatics that is now Beaconhouse National University, Pakistan. The degree included Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Cambridge University and the last year with Curtin University included some major business subjects like, business law, marketing, management, project management and other high-tech subjects. I did MBA-HRM in 2009, parallel to my career pursuit but as I was more inclined towards computing and technology therefore did MS software engineering and computing from SZABIST in 2014 and later PhDCS from IIUI. My international and local qualifications especially in IIUI gave me an understanding of the diverse educational systems which makes me analyze both ends; West and East. Currently, I’m selected as Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) Chair, IEEE Islamabad section and also serve as reviewer for some prestigious journals of Springer, Elsevier, IEEE and Taylor & Francis and included in grants review team of Qatar University. I also won $1000 startup grant by AWS and Azure. I have also enrolled in Founder Institute. In Google Scholar I have h index of 7 and i10 index is 6. I presented in 4 international IEEE conferences and there are 8 journal publications and one book chapter till date. I have peer reviewed around 100 papers and 2 grant applications. I aspire to take my research further and integrate different AI enabled business solutions for society 5.0 in a secure cloud which regulates the identity of every visitor without compromising on his/her confidentiality and privacy rights. I started my career as a System Analyst in NESPAK and rose to serve as CEO to CIT Health Solutions in Pakistan and own my subsidiaries under DreamSofTech, a consultancy firm. My business initiatives led me to enhance my innovative and entrepreneurial abilities. I like to use and experiment creative teaching methods to check and reinforce the learned principles being applied out of class as well. Students are free to approach me and communicate their issues and concerns that may be hindering their output in class or to plan for future. My joy comes from seeing my students grow into confident and skillful human beings with integrity, high ethics and morals. I pass time learning through different channels mainly, YouTube. Further, as I'm member of some associations I'm mostly busy in my volunteer, teaching, training or research related services.
