Dr.Pavan Sugoor is an Assistant professor in department of surgical oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru. Pavan is highly committed towards providing evidenced based comprehensive cancer care. His primary clinical area of interest include the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and minimally invasive surgery, with an equal inclination towards training and research. Pavan completed a residency in general surgery at M.S.Ramaiah medical college and a residency in surgical oncology at the Tata Memorial Centre in 2016. Furthering his professional training, he completed a Gastrointestinal and Colorectal surgical oncology fellowship at the Tata Memorial Centre, the highest volume centre for Gastro-intestinal surgery in South Asia, where he further acquired the skills and nuances in treating complex gastrointestinal cancers, robotic surgeries, cytoreduction and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy. He has more than 20 clinical research papers in indexed international and national peer reviewed journals and has contributed to  many abstracts, book chapters on topics in his speciality, including Esophago-gastric, Hepato-pancreatico-biliary, Colorectal cancers and minimally invasive surgery.
