Pradeep Venkatesh- Brief Biography Having completed MD in Ophthalmology, I trained to be a specialist in the field of Medical and Surgical Retina. Subsequently, I joined as a faculty in the above subspecialty at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RP Centre), which is the Ophthalmology department at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. RP Centre has also been recognized as the Apex institute for Eye Care in India. Over the past 25 years, I have been actively managing patients with a multitude of retinal problems, a large majority being Diabetic retinopathy. I have over 220 PubMed indexed publications and have been a reviewer for several major journals like Lancet, Ophthalmology, JAMA Ophthalmology, Experimental Eye Research, PloS one etc. I have also been a part of over 14 multicentric international studies, as co-investigator and principal investigator. I am presently a co-investigator for the GOOGLE study on using their AI software ARDA in Diabetic retinopathy. Recently, I have obtained certification from Stanford University for their 5 course specialization on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.
