Driss Raissi completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by a DIRECT Pathway residency in Interventional Radiology at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He serves as the Division Chief and Associate Professor of Radiology, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky. He has special interest in Women’s health, IVC filters, and interventional oncology with specific emphasis on liver ablative therapy and radioembolization, having made numerous presentations and manuscripts. He currently serves as Division Chief of Interventional Radiology at the University of Kentucky where he led its transformation into a modern Interventional radiology practice with a World Class Interventional Center for which he serves as its inaugural Medical Director. This center encompasses all aspects modalities of vascular and non-vascular radiological procedures, Neuro-interventional procedures and Interventional Cardiology procedures.
