Professor Maria Antonietta Mazzei is an expert in the field of Radiology, graduated cum laude in 1999 at the University of Siena, she partecipated to many research projects in the fields of oncology, immunology, reumatology and pneumology. She trained radiologists with daily activity and responsibility for diagnostic imaging (CT and MRI body imaging, Perfusion CT and MRI, Dual Energy CT, Oncologic imaging, Diagnostic Imaging in Rheumatology Abdominal Imaging, Thoracic imaging) and teaching activity, including responsibility for the organisation schedule of 40 residents in Radiology. Professor Mazzei has co-led the implementation of CT imaging, within unit of “Oncologic Imaging” at the University of Siena and she has also been part of many Scientific Society with national and international interest (SIRM, ESR, ESOI, ESGAR, GIRCG).
