Currently the Head of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, The National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, UKM); Deputy Director of Endoscopy Service Centre, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM.  Position related to consultancy, teaching and research in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy; Specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gastrointestinal Cancer, Functional Gastrointestinal Disorder, Advanced Gastrointestinal Therapeutic Endoscopy especially Endoscopic Ultrasound and Early Cancer Resection. Multiple publications in high impact peer review journal internationally.
