Dr. Ali Madian is Lecturer of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Al-Azhar University, Assiut, Egypt. He graduated M.B.B.CH.,(2006),Master in Internal Medicine (2010) and MD (2018) from Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He awarded scholarship from the Egyptian Government, to conduct his PhD research in Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, Japan. During his study in Japan , his research centered around small bowel diseases with great interest in mucosal immunology, cancer genetics, small bowel endoscopy, narrow band imaging endoscopy and focusing on inflammatory bowel diseases. He has started his academic work as assistant lecturer at Al-Azhar University, then clinical researcher at Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, Japan and finally as a lecturer of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He spent about ten years at Al-Azhar University in clinical teaching, clinical work and clinical research. He supervised, reviewed and participate in many clinical studies.
