Dr. Aleksandar Karamarković is a specialist in general surgery. He is a professor at the Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, as well as the head of the teaching base - Clinic for Surgery "Nikola Spasić", University Clinical Center "Zvezdara", of which he is also the director. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons as well as the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
