Tsung-Hsueh (Robert) Lu, MD, MPH, PhD is Professor of the Department of Public Health at National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan and Director of NCKU Research Center for Health Data. His motto of researches during the past three decades is “better data, better information, and better actions.” Prof Lu is committed in improving the quality of cause of death mortality data and other population-based administrative data (such as national insurance claims data or birth reporting data) and producing actionable information for policy decision making. His recent research topics including liver-related diseases mortality, child death review and validation the International Classification of Disease coding in administrative data.
