Dr. Manar Atoum is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Applied health Science Hashemite University, Jordan. Having BSc degree in Medicine from Jordan university of Science and Technology in 1988. Her Master degree at Yarmouk University, Jordan. And her ph.D in molecular biology and Genetics, Canada 1996. She became an assistant professor at the Hashemite University 1999. She was promoted to a full professor at the Hashemite University 2013. Her ongoing research interests are gene polymorphism and gene mutations. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Jordan journal of biological Sciences, a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of many scientific journals, and she has published more than 46 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Atoum served as the Dean of Allied Health Sciences (2007-2011) and the Dean of Scientific research (2017-2020) the Hashemite University. She supervised more than 60 Graduate students. Currently, she is the full professor at the Hashemite University and is a focal point for WASH project/ UNICEF at the Hashemite University
