Dr. Chia-Jung Li is an associate researcher at Taiwan Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital and an associate professor at National Sun Yat-sen University. Dr. Li is a Guest Editor or a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of many peer-reviewed SCI journals, including the Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, the Cancer Control, Biomolecules, Journal of Oncology. Dr. Li also serves as reviewer in many outstanding journals addressing the research of cell biology and mitochondrial medicine and an active reviewer for more than 20 SCI journals. Dr. Li’s primary research interests focus on the study of the mitochondrial medicine, cancer biology, molecular metabolism. Dr. Li has published more than 50 SCI papers, and majority of them are under his supervision (acting either as the first author or a corresponding author). Dr. Li's exceptional achievements have been recognized by many prestigious awards, including the Prize Paper Award of the Taiwanese Society for Reproductive Medicine (2019 and 2020), the Best Poster Award of the Taiwan Society for Mitochondrial Research and Medicine (2012, 2018, 2020), the Outstanding Research Award in the Taiwan Breast Cancer Foundation (2019 and 2020), the Japan and the United states international academic Travel Award (2011 and 2016), and many other awards. It is worth mentioning that his research papers are often selected as cover stories by high-impact journals (Theranostics, Journal of Clinical Medicine...etc).
