Dr. Zhu is a Professor in the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital East Campus, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai. Having received his master degree from Anhai Medical University in 2007, Dr. Zhu undertook his PhD candidate at the Medical College of Tongji University in 2010 and obtained his PhD degree in 2013. He was promoted to Professor in the School of Medicine, Shanghai Health Medical College in 2019. His ongoing research interests are evidence-based medicine, systematic review, transfusion medicine, laboratory diagnosis and meta-analysis and network meta-analysis. He is the director of Department of Transfusion Medicine, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital East Campus, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles. He is a graduate advisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Soochow University, Shanghai Ocean University and Taishan Medical College. He is also a member of the Chinese laboratory of Integrative Medicine and a member of the blood transfusion branch of the Shanghai Medical Association.
