Dr. Maslennikov is an assistant Professor in Sechenov University, Moscow, Russia. Having received his MD degree from Russian State Medical University, Dr. Maslennikov undertook his postgraduate training at Clinic of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Sechenov University. He obtained his PhD degree in 2018 and became professor of Sechenov University. His ongoing research interests are liver diseases and gut microbiota. He is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Maslennikov has a certificate of general practitioner, rheumatologist and gastroenterologist. He won a grant from the BIOCODEX Foundation for the study of microbiota in patients with cirrhosis in 2019.
