Professor Ye Xin has been engaged in oncology clinical, scientific research and teaching for nearly 40 years. He is the pioneer to apply microwave ablation to treat early lung cancer and ground-glass opacity (GGO) at home and abroad, the skill of which has reached top-rank status at the international level. He is a well-known expert in minimally invasive treatment of cancer in China. He formulates the first international expert consensus on "thermal ablation therapy of pulmonary subsolid nodules" and the first domestic expert consensus on "thermal ablation therapy of lung tumors". In recent years, he has published more than 100 papers in core journals at home and abroad including more than 60 papers indexed by SCI with a cumulative impact factor of more than 150 points. He has edited 4 monographs as the chief editor and translated 1 monograph as the author. He has undertaken four scientific research projects of "National Natural Science Foundation of China", the Ministry of Health and Shandong Province, and won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of Shandong Province.
