Dr Krishna Kumar is a Professor in Pediatric Surgery, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), India. Having completed his undergraduation (MBBS 1991-6) and postgraduation (MS 1997-2000) in JIPMER, he went on to specialise in Pediatric Surgery (MCh 2003-6) in the Institute of Child Health, Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. He received the FEBPS from the European Board of Pediatric Surgery. He was selected as best reviewer by the Surgery Journal (Thieme).
