Dr. Feng Yin joined the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as an Assistant Professor in December 2022. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri from 2019 to 2022. He is board certified in anatomical and clinical pathology with a subspecialty focused in gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic pathology. Dr. Yin received his medical degree at the Medical College of Nanchang University, and obtained his PhD degree in Pathology and Pathophysiology at Peking University Health Science Center in China. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Oklahoma, as well as a gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellowship at the University of Florida. Before his pathology residency, Dr. Yin has completed a research fellowship training at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Johns Hopkins University, and was a Research Specialist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institutes. His work has been published in prestigious scientific journals such as Cell and eLife. His research interests include the digestive system tumors and novel targets identification for cancer immunotherapy.
