Zippi Maddalena is First Level Medical Directing in Gastroenterology and Digestive Hospital at Sandro Pertini Hospital of Rome. She holds the following academic degrees: Medicine and Surgery (2000), Specialization in Gastroenterology (2004), Second Level Master in Colonproctology (2007), Second Level Master in Operative Digestive Endoscopy (2010), PhD in Gastroenterology and Surgical Physiopathology (2014) and Second Level Master in Health Management. Member of: European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), Federation of the Associations of Hospital Internal Directing (FADOI) European Pancreatic Club (EPC), International Association of Pancreatology (IAP) and Italian Association for the Study of Pancreas (AISP). From 2012, she is Young European Assessors for the gastroenterological area for the AIFA (Italian Medicines Agency).
