Waseem Qureshi, working as Professor and Registrar, in Government Medical College, Srinagar. Passed MBBS and Postgraduate (MD, Medicine) from Government Medical College, Karan Nagar, Srinagar affiliated with University of Kashmir, India, in 1985 and 1995, respectively. I have also being honored with the Degree of Fellow of Royal College of Edinburgh, Fellow of Royal Colleges of Physicians of Ireland and Member of Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow United Kingdom. I have also undergone Postgraduate Diploma certificate in Diabetology through BMJ and Fortis Hospital, successfully. I am Fellow of American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, European Respiratory Society and Member of American Public Health Association. I started my carrier as a Physician, Researcher and Administrator in Government Medical College, Karan Nagar, Srinagar and its Associated Hospitals. I had been in Research continuously from 1997 till date and have almost 125 Research Articles in International and National Journals. My Research Interest Score is Three Hundred and Three (303), Citations are Three Hundred and Fifty One (351) and h-index is Eleven (11) at Research Gate. Further, as a Google Scholar, I have Citations 536, h-index is 12 and i10-index is 14. I have served as Medical Superintendent of many associated hospitals of Government Medical College, Karan Nagar, Srinagar and worked as Medical Officer in various Districts of Jammu and Kashmir State/UT. I have been Project Director of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) AIDS control Community. I have served as Director of Mobile Teaching cum Service Hospital of Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. I have been the Nodal Officer for Kashmir in the outskirts of pandemic COVID-19 and have awarded for my work in the pandemic of COVID-19 in the State/UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
