Dr. Saurav Basu (MD Community Medicine) is currently Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Public Health - Delhi, Public Health Foundation of India. I teach courses on epidemiology, clinical research, noncommunicable diseases, medical writing to students of MPH, and MSc courses. I have completed over 15 funded projects as PI/Co-PI/Co-investigator. I have published over 75 articles as first author or corresponding author in PubMed indexed journal. I have made 6 presentations in international conference. My H-index is currently 23 (google scholar) with total 3865 citations. I am member of 10 profession associations including National Academy of Medical Sciences, Indian Public Health Association, Korean Endocrine Society, International Epidemiology Association, etc. I have reviewed nearly 200 articles, and written 5 editorial / invited commentaries. I have also editorial board experience from BMC Public Health and Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research and Reviews. My core research areas include health system strengthening , continuum of care, and chronic disease management in resource-limited settings. I am also interested in applications involving digital therapeutics with AI-ML, health promotion, and integrative medicine, especially for multiple long term-conditions. I have mentored over 15 MPH/MSc students for their thesis dissertations. I also mentored MSc students to the regional prize in the Indo Pacific Global Health Case competition conducted by the University of Melbourne. I like to read on history, philosophy, and explore new places.
