Ying Wang. Deputy Director of the Hubei Engineering Research Center for Precision Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases. MD Associated Chief Physician of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. Long-term engaged in the work of hospital infection prevention and control. During the COVID-19 pandemic, served as an expert in the Xiamen, Jilin, and Hainan working groups of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism's Comprehensive Group for Medical Treatment of the State Council. As the lead author, I contributed 40 articles to prestigious journals, including Clinical Infectious Diseases, with 18 of these being SCI-indexed papers (H-index of 12, featuring 1 ESI highly cited paper). I have been the principal investigator for one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grant for young scientists and has participated in another general NSFC grant. Additionally, I have been awarded 5 patents. My research on "Precision Identification and Intervention of Hand Contact Transmission Pathways" has shed light on the characteristics and risks associated with hand contact transmission within healthcare settings. Through this work, I have developed two innovative tools for the intelligent identification of hand contact transmission behaviors. These research outcomes have been codified into one local standard and have been implemented in six medical institutions, reaching over 4,000 individuals through demonstration projects. This body of work has been recognized with the First Prize for Outstanding Papers at the National Hospital Infection Management Academic Annual Meeting and the Third Prize in the inaugural Hubei Province Innovation and Translational Medicine Competition. To date, I have peer-reviewed over 50 manuscripts for journals under the BMC, Wiley, and Elsevier banners. Particularly, I have offered objective suggestions for improvement in areas such as research design and the innovative aspects of the studies. I am committed to a series of research on the theory of precision prevention and control of infectious diseases, innovation in technology, and demonstration application of results. I possess extensive experience in interpersonal communication, event organization, and related areas. I enjoy hiking and mountain climbing, and I am particularly interested in solving practical scientific problems from a clinical perspective over the long term.
