With a medical degree in China, upon his PhD in 2012 at Sichuan University, China, En-Qiang Chen was nominated a lecturer at West China Hospital. Over the last 5 years, he has focused his scientific interests on the topics related to chronic liver diseases including viral hepaitis, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver failure. With his expertise in clinical and basic science research of chronic liver diseases, he has participated in a series of international or domestic clinical trails on chronic liver diseases treatment, obtain a patent in China, published numerous SCI journal papers and book chapters, reviewed for many academic journals.
