Dr. Swanson is a faculty member in the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a transplant nephrologist, Dr. Swanson aims to care for patients with kidney, pancreas and other solid organ transplants with kidney disease to improve patient and graft survival outcomes. Research areas include the following: Kidney and pancreas patient and graft outcomes, delayed graft function, post-transplant diabetes mellitus, and living donation.
