Hi, I am Dr Deven Juneja, FNB (Critical Care Medicine). Presently working as Director, Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, India. I like to practice critical care because I know my actions can make a difference in the lives of most vulnerable and sick patients. I am an accomplished teacher in the field of Critical Care Medicine with almost 20 years of experience. I am passionate towards clinical research as that is the way forward to make clinical care better and more efficient. I have written more than 70 chapters in critical care, emergency medicine and respiratory medicine books. I am a renowned researcher with more than 80 pubmed indexed publications in various national and international journals. I am on editorial board of 3 international journals and a peer-reviewer for more than 75 journals. I am regularly invited to national and international conferences as faculty and have been instrumental in organising CMEs, training workshops and national conferences. I am closely associated with ISCCM and have worked as secretary to Delhi-ISCCM. I have almost 3,000 paper citations with a H-index of 24. I have written 7 editorials and have reviewed hundreds of manuscripts. I like to teach and have special interests in sepsis, critical care toxicology and clinical research. I have even authored a Textbook on "Critical care toxicology". I like to lead by example and have taught my students to be not only better clinicians but also better humans and care for critically ill patients with clinical skill, compassion, and empathy. I love to travel and play chess in my leisure time.
