Dr. Zhang is a distinguished professor in Tianjin Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital. In 2001, Dr. Zhang received a doctor's degree from Tianjin Medical University. In 2001, he was promoted to chief physician and served as a professor of Tianjin Medical University. He is a member of several editorial committees and reviewer of several scientific journals and has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Zhang is now the director of the Hepatobiliary Department of Tianjin Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital. His ongoing research interests are jaundice, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma caused by benign and malignant diseases.
