Dr. Mohammad Nawab is a professor, physician and researcher in Unani Medicine at National Research Institute of Unani Medicine for Skin Disorders (under Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India), Hyderabad. He obtained post graduation (MD) degree from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He is actively engaged in clinical research and has been supervising post graduate dissertation works. He has been teaching to post graduate students in Department of Moalajt (Medicine). He has supervised 14 P G. dissertations. He has been principal investigator for several clinical research projects. He has published 26 research papers in the peer reviewed journals. He is currently working in the research areas like dyslipidaemia, hypertension, melasma, dermatophytosis and metabolic disorders.
