Dr. Wu-Si Qiu earned his PhD and MD at Zhejiang University, School of Medicine, China. He is an Associate Professor in Department of Surgery, Hangzhou Normal University, College of Medicine. He is also a neurosurgeon in Department of Neurosurgery, Hangzhou Second Hospital. He has presented at some national and international scientific meetings. He is becoming an international expert in this field. Dr. Wu-Si Qiu has written 5 book chapters, Associate Editor, 2019《Structure and Function of DTI-based White Matter Fiber Bundles》for example, and has published more than 50 medical papers. As a staff and invited speaker, Dr. Wu-Si Qiu has attended more than 10 international conferences: (1) the NABIS North American Brain Injury Society's Tenth Annual Conference on Brain Injury, September 12-15, 2012, Miami, Florida; (2) International Conference on Integrated Preventive Cardiology, November 24-27, 2011. Mumbai, India; (3) the 3rd International Hypothermia Symposium, September 2-5 2009, Lund, Sweden; (4) the 2nd Therapeutic Temperature Management Conference, October, 2008, Barcelona, Spain; and (5) the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Congress, at Mexico Cit, August 28 -31, 2007. He is a reviewer for more than 16 international medical journals such as Critical Care, Journal of Critical Care, Archives of Medical Science, World Journal of Pediatrics, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, Brain Injury, Current Biotechnology, Journal of Anesthesialogy and Clinical Science (JACS), and has peer reviewed more than 100 manuscripts. His research interests cover critical care, neurological disorder and medicine teaching. Dr. Qiu has professional skills such as Communication skills, Interpersonal skills and Problem-solving skills.
